DESCRIPTION:Rural Task Force (RTF) Education Committee\, a sub-committee of the RTF Program Advisory Board\, will be holding outreach training for all RTF members in October 2024.  The outreach will be repeated at five locations across the state:\n\n \n\nOctober 7\, 2024\, Marquette Township hall\, Marquette\n\nOctober 8\, 2024\, Jay's Sporting Goods Conference Center\, Gaylord\n\nOctober 14\, 2024\, Bay Region Office\, Saginaw\n\nOctober 22\, 2024\, MDOT Aeronautics Office\, Lansing\n\nOctober 23\, 2024\, Road Commission of Kalamazoo County office\, Kalamazoo\n\n \n\nCheck-in and a light breakfast will start at 8:30 a.m.\, a welcome address at 8:50 a.m. and the training session starting at 9 a.m. and ending around 4 p.m.  Lunch will be provided. \n\n\n\nThe Outreach will cover information on changing guidance related to:\n\n\n\nAmendment vs Admin Mod\n\nBid-package\, funding after obligation\n\nCarryover\, and Obligation Authority\, Utilizing Bid Savings- Allocation\n\nEligible Projects\n\nFederal Aid-Buyout\n\nFund transfers (within an RTF and between RTFs)\n\nJobnet- 1797/1799\n\nLAP- Environmental\, NEPA process\n\nLocal Federal Fund Exchange Program\n\nNew STIP   Project Selection\n\nOverview of the Reports\n\nProject Selection   All season network\n\nPro-Rata and lump-sum\n\nRPA Roles and the RTF Process\n\nSmall Urban  \n\nSTIP Process\n\nTEDF D Eligible and How that Works\n\nTEDF Direct Distribution\n\nThe Federal 3C multi-modal planning process as it relates to RTF process\n\nTransit   Flexing\, Abandoning\, Illustrative List\, One job number for multiple projects
