SUMMARY:Rural Task Force Training - October 26\, 2018
DESCRIPTION:Rural Task Force (RTF) Education Committee\, a sub-committee of the RTF Program Advisory Board\, will be holding outreach training for all RTF members in October 2018.  The outreach will be repeated at five locations across the state:\n\n \n\nOctober 15\, 2018\, Horatio Earl Learning Center\, Lansing (this will also be an Adobe Connect Webinar)\n\nOctober 17\, 2018\, Kalamazoo Road Commission\, Kalamazoo\n\nOctober 18\, 2018\, Bay Region Office\, Saginaw\n\nOctober 24\, 2018\, Marquette Township hall\, Marquette  \n\nOctober 26\, 2018\, University Center\, Gaylord\n\n \n\nCheck-in and a light breakfast will start at 8:30 am\, a Welcome address at 8:50 and the training session starting at 9:00 am and ending around 4:00 pm.  Lunch will be provided.  The Outreach will cover information on changing guidance related to funding and fund transfers\, the LAP obligation process and how allocation and obligation authority are effected\, the new NEPA process (environmental clearance)\, How transit fits into the RTF program\, the changes to project selection and RPA/RTF workflow do to JobNet Phase 2\, General Program Accounts guidance (why it is important to the RTF program\, What RTF actions need action at a meeting vs e-mail vote\, What is a federal amendment\, the STIP process\, development of the 2020-2023 S/TIP\, and the Local Federal Fund Exchange Program for 2019.
